Public Participation Event – Wednesday April 6th

City and Regional Planning will be hosting a public participation event this Wednesday, Wednesday April 6th at 4:00 pm.  They will be using the northern half of the jury space on the 3rd floor of architecture west.  The topic of the event will be “Bike and Pedestrian Infrastructure on Campus” and we hope that many of the cyclists and pedestrians will attend!  There will be other student groups and, hopefully, employees in the campus planning department; we hope to generate some meaningful recommendations and insights to provide to different departments on campus.  Light refreshments will be provided.

This class has something for everyone! Whether you are new to urban cycling and want to gain confidence riding in the street, a trail rider who would like to bike around the neighborhood with your kids, a bike commuter looking for tips on crash avoidance, or a bike enthusiastic interested in leading your own rides, you’ll be surprised by what you learn. Even the most seasoned bicyclists will have their eyes opened on the less intuitive aspects of Atlanta biking.

Expect to learn something new, have your good habits reinforced and those pesky bad habits disappear, and emerge a safer, more confident cyclist from every angle.
