Bike Day 2015

September 19, 2011 | 1 Comment

This Friday, April 17th marks a miniature celebrating of the  annual Georgia Tech Bike Week Day, created to encourage more people to ride their bikes to and around Georgia Tech, through prizes, incentives, fun events, and competition.

As always, Bike Day includes a day-long Commuter Challenge. All students, staff, and faculty can use a simple form (which will be made available on the bike.gatech.edu front page all day Friday and over the weekend following) to log their miles for Earth Day (Friday); by doing so, you will be entered in random drawings, and eligible to win prizes!

In addition to the commuter competition, we’ll have some fun stuff going on all day on Tech Walkway during the Earth Day festivities!

Come by our Table on Tech Walkway to enjoy:

Free Bike Repairs!

– Sweet Info Materials

Helmet and Bike Decorating

Chances to win more prizes!

One person is talking about “Bike Day 2015

  1. Hey,
Several of have tried talking to facilities and the GT police and other people over the past 2.5 years (with no results), but there is an old teal rusted bike locked to the bikerack at the ground floor entrance to the Molecular Science & Engineering building (901 Atlantic Dr) labeled GT#03802 that we would really like removed.
    Thanks,
    Eli
