Explore Atlanta by Bike! Starter Bikes will be hosting a social, casual, no-drop bike ride around Atlanta.
Encourage your friends to join us! This is an opportunity for anyone who may be new to Atlanta and/or interested biking in the city. Safety first: we will try to plan a route that avoids busy or major roads.
This will be a 14-18 mile bike ride around Atlanta landmarks and neighborhoods. It will be a social pace for you to explore new areas and see things you may have only heard about but never seen. Bring a camera, if you like, because we will make frequent stops for photos, snacks, etc.
If you plan on coming and haven’t used your bike for a while, stop by Starter Bikes at Georgia Tech this Friday and we can make sure you are ready to go!
Make sure you have a reliable bike, an extra tube or patch kit, water, snacks, helmet and lights for safety; all these things can be found at Starter Bikes prior to the ride.
Plan on meeting at the main entrance of the CRC at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday March 5th. The group will roll out to Woodruff Park where we will be meeting up with another biking group in Atlanta called TourDeLanta for this ride.
Register at the Facebook page for the event (registration isn’t required, but it does help us get an idea of how many people are going).
